Please tell us what your organization/company does or is? We are a Cajun vegan food company that is also soy-free and nut-free! We cater, vend as a pop-up food booth, sell cooking products online, and will soon have a restaurant open in North Hollywood!
Why did you start your organization or company? Studies show that the top reason people don’t want to consider veganism is that they feel like the food is boring and inconvenient. Opening a Cajun vegan restaurant, releasing a cookbook, and providing cooking mixes solves both of those problems! I started the company to grow the vegan population — one Cajun food lover at a time.
What is the best selling product? Cajun Jambalaya, followed by the New Orleans Poboy
What is the biggest misconception about vegan food you think people have. There’s a stigma that Cajun food HAS to be all about meat, when really, it’s all about the spices and “Holy Trinity” (celery, bell pepper, and onion – the base of nearly every Cajun dish).
